| Background & Certification: A graduate of the College of Medicine, University of Benin, 98/99 session, 2000. He had a very comprehensive and robust Plastic Surgery residency training in Nigeria and abroad. As senior resident, he was blessed with 3 International fellowship programmes in quick successions, namely: 1. The British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) fellowship which took him through 4 centres of excellence in the UK. 2. The International Association of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (former the Dutch Association of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons) fellowship at the Erasmus MC and Bergmann's Kliniks. 3. Hand Surgery fellowship at the Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong University. He bagged the fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons in October, 2013. Dr. Omoruyi was selected for the scholarly fellowship of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons/Plastic Surgery Foundation USA where he trained at 3 centres of excellence from October 2017 to March, 2018.
