Kwara Governor Approves New Medical, Health Workers Recruitment

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has given official approval for the immediate recruitment of new medical and health personnel across the state. This move aims to improve access to quality healthcare services and strengthen the workforce in government hospitals and health centers.

Hajia Kifayat Jimoh, the Permanent Secretary of the Kwara State Civil Service Commission, made the announcement during a recent media briefing.

She commended the governor’s efforts in reviving the health sector, noting that the approval is in line with his long-term vision to expand healthcare access, especially in underserved communities.

This recruitment will help fill critical health sector vacancies in Nigeria, with opportunities available for medical officers, staff nurses, midwives, pharmacists, medical laboratory scientists, medical record officers, and health attendants. These roles are vital for effective healthcare delivery in Kwara and provide stable employment for qualified professionals.

To be eligible, applicants must possess valid professional qualifications, NYSC discharge certificates, higher education certificates, WAEC or SSCE results, birth certificates or declarations of age, and citizenship certificates. These are standard requirements for health jobs in Nigeria’s public sector.
