APPLICATION: Zamfara State Teachers Recruitment Portal
The Zamfara State Government has launched a new recruitment drive that is hiring 2,000 teachers across public schools. In the first phase, 500 teaching slots are available, with applications now open to qualified candidates.
There are two categories of job positions based on educational qualifications, these are:
- Grade Level 07/01: For those with a National Certificate in Education (NCE)
- Grade Level 08/02: For applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education
Teachers are needed in key subjects such as:
- English
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Computer Studies/ICT
- Entrepreneurship Studies
Who is Eligible to Apply?
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold an NCE or Bachelor’s Degree in Education
- Have at least five credit passes in key subjects, including English and Mathematics
- Be between the ages of 22 and 40
- Provide a valid medical fitness report
- Possess a TRCN certificate (optional, but will be an advantage)
How to Apply for Zamfara State Teachers Recruitment
All candidates who are interested must apply online through the official Zamfara State Recruitment Portal developed by the Zamfara Information Technology Development Agency (ZITDA). Previous submissions via Google Forms are no longer valid, and all applicants must reapply using the new system.
Steps to apply:
- Visit recruitment.zamfara.gov.ng
- Read the notice on the homepage
- Select the position that matches your qualification
- Click “View Positions”
- Confirm your eligibility and check the deadline (April 16, 2025)
- Create an account with your personal details, including NIN and BVN
- Set a password and proceed
- Generate an invoice and pay the non-refundable fee of N1,000
- Fill out the application form completely and submit

Closing Date and Screening
Applications are open from April 3 to April 18, 2025. However, the portal may close earlier on April 16, so early application is recommended.
Qualified candidates will be invited for a screening process that includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT), written and oral interviews, and a microteaching session. Please note that only applications submitted through the official portal will be accepted.
