Is Nigeria Police Recruitment Form Available in 2025?
As of TODAY, the recruitment application form is not yet available. However, it is expected to be released soon. Nigeria Police Recruitment Requirements (2025)
To apply successfully, candidates must satisfy the following conditions:
- Must be of Nigerian origin by birth.
- A minimum of five (5) credits in WAEC/NECO or equivalent exams in no more than two sittings, including English and Mathematics. Certificates issued before 2015 will not be accepted.
- Applicants must be aged between 18 and 28 years, depending on the role applied for.
- Candidates must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit. Males must be at least 1.67m tall, and females must be at least 1.64m tall.
- Male candidates must have a chest measurement of at least 86cm (34 inches) when expanded.
- Female candidates must not be pregnant at the time of entry.
- Must possess a National Identification Number (NIN), a valid email address, and a phone number.
- Applicants must demonstrate good character, be free from financial embarrassment, and have no prior criminal convictions.
How to Apply for Nigeria Police Recruitment
Follow these steps once the application portal is open:
- Visit apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng to complete the online application form.
- Upload scanned copies of your SSCE results and Birth certificate.
- After submission, print the completed online form and guarantor form. These documents must be submitted during the physical screening.
Applicants who meet the online registration requirements will receive invitations for a nationwide Automated Physical Screening Exercise. During this stage, candidates will be required to present original documents, including:
- Educational qualifications
- Birth certificate or age declaration
- Fitness certificate from a government-recognised hospital
- Certificate of good character from a village or district head
- Indigene certificate signed by the local government chairman or secretary
- Guarantor form endorsed by a public servant (minimum GL13), a police officer (rank CSP or higher), or a senior officer in the armed forces or paramilitary services.
